Factory tours
Come see the science in action, while we make your favorite frozen treat! We make Blue Sky Creamery ice cream using liquid nitrogen to instantly freeze our premium ingredients at approximately -320 degrees. Our patented “Nitrofreeze” machine shoots out ice cream at approximately 200 miles an hour. This cool machine can make approximately 200 pints of ice cream an hour when running at full capacity. Cool facts, but it’s all about the results - an ice cream with a smooth, creamy texture, and bursting with flavor. Science never tasted so good!
